131 A GALLERY is an independent Cape Town based art gallery showcasing contemporary artworks by some of South Africa’s most renowned as well as emerging artists. We host monthly group and solo shows in our main gallery as well as curated group exhibitions in the Annex situated at Shop 1&2, 131 Sir Lowry road, Foreshore, Cape Town. 

// Studio Visits

Due to our great relationship with most of the Cape Town based artists as well as our ever growing network of emerging and iconic South African artists, we can also offer studio visits, giving collectors the opportunity to meet the artist and view their artworks in a more intimate and relaxed environment. 

// Curation

We can assist you in helping to curate the perfect art collection for your home or office by guiding you through portfolio’s of artists current works as well as bringing artworks to you to try out in a space. 

// Logistics

We can arrange shipping both locally and abroad and we work with reputable logistics suppliers who specialise in packaging and transport of artworks, ensuring that you receive your art piece timeously, and more importantly in one piece.
